When it was presented for the first time in 2005 Nissan Frontier has drawn lots of attention. In 2011 it suffered some slight refreshment but. Twelve years since its appearance we are waiting for a new model. The old version still has its admirers but the interests are constantly decreasing. Last year Nissan has presented new Titan and Titan XD and it’s about time that the new 2018 Nissan Frontier hit the roads.
New 2018 Nissan Frontier Engine Options:
The base model with the new Frontier for 2018 will probably be the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. This engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together they will deliver 152 horses and 171 pound-feet of torque. For those that care about towing capacity rather than fuel efficiency, Nissan will offer 4-liter V6 engine. Matched to 7-speed auto transmission it can produce 261 HP and 281 pound-feet of torque. Drive will be delivered to the rear axle while the all-wheel drive will be optional.
The front fascia of the new 2018 Nissan Frontier is still a mystery. However the most likely are that the grill and a front bumper will be borrowed from the upgraded Titan. Both front and taillights will probably be reshaped. The one is sure; they will be equipped with the new LED technology. The interior will be more spacious, so more leg space can be expected. A dashboard will probably suffer major changes and the larger central console will ease the drive. Safety features like ABS, airbags and blind spot monitoring will come as standard in all trim models.
The new 2018 Nissan Frontier price will probably defer a little comparing to a current model. The base model could be around $18.500,00 while Pro-4X will go over $20.000,00. Read more about 2018 Nissan Frontier.
