New 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 will arrive with various engine options. For now, three mills could potentially find the place under the hood. The first option is 4.3 liter V6 with 285 HP and 305 lb-ft of torque. The second is a 5.3 liter V8 with its 355 HP and 383 lb-ft. Both of them are products of the new EcoTec3 technology. The strongest option will be 6.2 liter V8. Matched to an eight-speed transmission this engine will deliver 420 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque. The towing capacity of the new 2018 GMC Sierra with the strongest mill under the hood will reach 12,500 pounds.

Speaking about exterior look new Sierra will come with refreshed front grill which will be decorated with a big GMC badge. The front side will also receive upgraded headlights. The base model, SLE, SLT and top of the range Denali will still be some of the trim options. Interior will come with the upgraded IntelliLink system while with the higher trims leather with dominate inside the new Sierra.

2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Price and Release Date:

The price of the base model will probably be around $30,000 while the upper trims could go over $50,000. Since the new model is almost ready it can be expected in the second half of this year.
