The design of the 2018 Jeep Scrambler is unmistakably Jeep, and similar to its predecessor, the Wrangler, which it is largely based upon. With the seven slot grille and raised headlights, attention to detail has been taken care of and shows the designers have really listened to their drivers. One notably new feature will be that the Scrambler features a twin cabin, meaning reduced vibration and a far smoother journey for both driver and passenger.
Ample space is provided with a large cargo space and additional room inside the vehicle. The internal seating will be buckskin and have heating functions for added comfort. Jeep fans will also the see the option added for cup holders and temperature control for those every changing climate on or off road.
Interesting interior features included a stress gadget that detects when there is any tire stress and related issues with the majority of the internal dashboard and functions being LED powered. There will also be satellite navigation equipment fitted within the interior along with wireless sound services and other innovative technology such as smartphone interface and voice recognition.
2018 Jeep Scrambler – Engine and Performance
Rumors have circulated that the 2018 Scrambler will be a diesel powered engine which would be better suited to off road handling and capabilities. The engine will also feature a turbocharger for optimum power and could potentially have a fuel capability of 3.6-liters and around 260 pounds of torque.
Heavy duty suspensions in the design will also improve the unit’s aerodynamics and functionality. In terns of horsepower and speed, we can expect to see a yield of up to 240 hp and potential top speed of 114 mph. The gearbox will be six speed with a manual option but with a four wheel drive transmission.
2018 Jeep Scrambler – Price and Release Date
Dealers have discussed the release date for the Jeep Scrambler 2018 to be as early as winter 2017 with possible showcases beforehand. The estimated price for the 2018 Jeep Scrambler will be in the region of $40,000 with the Jeep Wrangler models currently priced around $24,890. It is rumored that the 2018 Jeep Scrambler could be seen in early 2017 at US dealer shows to give Jeep fans a taste of what to expect from the newest Jeep model.
